About the Festival

Pulp Uncovered is a project of the Master's Degree program in Public Humanities at Brown University, in the Department of American Civilization.

The program is housed in Brown University's center for the public humanities, the John Nicholas Brown Center for the Study of American Civilization (JNBC). The Center supports students and faculty who connect the public to history, art, and culture.

The JNBC houses the University's new Master's program in the Public Humanities. This program provides graduate training for careers in museums, historic preservation, and cultural organizations. The program works closely with the Rhode Island School of Design and the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C.

For more information about the JNBC, visit the center's homepage.
